MediWales Innovation Awards 2018

We are delighted to announce that SymlConnect Ltd won the industry award for Partnership with the NHS at the MediWales Innovation Awards 2018, held at the National Museum Cardiff on December 4th.

SymlConnect CEO presents at CALIN seminar in Brussels

Following on from presenting at the UKHealthTech Conference 2018 and accepting a MediWales Innovation Award on the 4th December, SymlConnects CEO Dr Sabarna Mukhopadhyay flew to Brussels to present details of our digital healthcare software products and Celtic Advanced Life Science Innovation Network (CALIN) Microneedles project.

UKHealthTech Conference 2018

Dr Sabarna Mukhopadhyay, CEO of SymlConnect Ltd presented at the UKHealthTech Conference 2018, held at the Cardiff Park Plaza on December 4th.

Sabarna discussed the identified needs and reasoning behind our approach to innovative digital healthcare software development, topics included seamless integration with clinical systems, patient empowerment through the use of information technology, and how we bridge geographical distance through remote patient-clinician communication.

Taking place on 14/11/18 at the UWE Exhibition and Conference Centre – Bristol, the West of England Healthcare Innovation Expo 2018 attracted a wealth of delegates to the timely
event focusing on Healthcare Innovation opportunities and solutions occurring in the West of England. SymlConnect were exhibiting as part of the Digital and Med-Tech exhibitor showcase demonstrating how our solutions can dramatically impact the issues of cost and time wastage, clincial efficiency, and enhancing patient outcomes.

Collaborate 2018

Bringing together academics, health boards, industry, local government and the health and life sciences community, the fifth annual Collaborate conference was held at Swansea University on the 18th of October.

Presentations took place within the Main Stage of the Taliesin Arts Centre, featuring distinguished speakers that included Professor Keith Lloyd (Head of Swansea University Medical School), Professor Andrew Davies (Chair of ABMU), Menna Brown (Lecturer Swansea University Medical School), Professor Steve Conlan (Professor of Molecular and Cell Biology at Swansea University Medical School), and Professor Hamish Laing (Professor of Enhanced Innovation, Engagement and Outcomes at Swansea University), to name but a few.
