SymlConnect was proud to join the MediWales LifeStoriesLive webinar series on 22nd September 2020. SymlConnect’s CEO, Sabarna Mukhopadhyay’s presentation was on ‘Digital transformation, empowering patients to promote clinical monitoring and efficiency’. The webinar series brought together a range of speakers informing how the life sciences community has responded to the COVID-19 Pandemic through adaptation, innovation and collaboration.

Sabarna spoke of Syml’s innovative modular framework, how our technology is being used to tackle care monitoring concerns during the lockdown situation and beyond.

SymlConnect Present and Exhibit at MediWales Members’ Showcase 2020


SymlConnect were delighted to be a part of the MediWales Members Showcase that took place on 3rd March 2020 at the Novotel, Cardiff. Syml presented on the subject of
“Digital Data Capture For Integrated Healthcare Enhancement”, representatives were on hand to exhibit and demonstrate the capabilities of our Patient Engagement Solution Patient+ in helping to address prudent healthcare challenges through high quality data capture, integration with clinical systems, smart communication and analytical reporting.

SymlConnect successfully completes a
“remote data gathering” project with Swansea University’s Sports and Exercise Sciences Department

SymlConnect and Swansea University’s Sport and Exercise Sciences department successfully completed a remote data collection and monitoring project. The pilot project was to assess and monitor the effect on participants using a ‘Rise and Recharge’ workplace intervention mobile app, with the intention to make them less sedentary and more active during a working day.

The project development involved:

  • Close association with the Academic team
  • Secure and Automated periodic questionnaire completion via prompt emails
  • Intuitive and user-friendly frontend interface design and process flow
  • Device agnostic remote data capture regardless of location or time
  • Protected backend reporting and data file export for statistical analysis

The joint partnership resulted in an enjoyable and worthwhile collaboration, acting as a stepping stone for larger population involvement to improve and promote the healthy living concepts of a modern workplace.

SymlConnect featured at Swansea University’s Collaborate 2020 event


SymlConnect Ltd featured in Professor Steve Conlan’s ‘Focus on Enterprise and Innovation’ talk at Collaborate 2020, which took place at Swansea University’s Singleton Park campus on 5th February 2020.


A recent student placement with SymlConnect Ltd was also published in the ‘Accelerate Health Technology Centre’ booklet provided to all Collaborate 2020 delegates. Click on the image below to read the placement article:
