Ehi2 organised an Innovation Panel for SymlConnect’s CarePad+ application to discuss and get appropriate feedback to enhance the market viability of the product. The panel was chaired by David Ford (Professor of Health Informatics, Swansea University; Director of EHI2) and consisted of eminent people like Andrew Griffiths (Director of Informatics Services and Chief Information Officer for Health), Rob Jones (Head of Applications at Informing Healthcare), Maynard Davies (Technical Assets Manager at NHS Wales Informatics Service).

MediWales Innovation Challenge Event: “Research to Revenue”

Dr Sabarna Mukhopadhyay, CEO gave a presentation on Smart Cost Effective Solutions for Improved Health Monitoring at Hotel Novotel, Cardiff. The event focused on examples of successful academic and business collaborations, financial support available to companies and collaborative projects, methods of working with academia, and act as a showcase of the academic expertise available.
